Technical Support Analyst
Location:
West Palm Beach/Miami/Tampa/Chipley, FL
Duration: 12 Months
Minimum Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, including operating systems, office suite, and Outlook in a networked environment
- Advanced knowledge of computer software, hardware, and firmware related to personal computers, LAN/WAN environments
- Skilled at installing and providing technical support for software applications, operating systems, and hardware
- Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on various manufacturers’ computers
- Ability to plan, organize, manage, and track projects
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, understand, and comply with department policies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide Audio Visual (AV) and Video Conference (VC) support, including reserving, setting up, coordinating, and troubleshooting meetings
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to identify causes of problems; install, configure, and support PCs and peripherals, including software installation, upgrades, and patches
- Monitor Service Desk queue, resolve support tickets, assign tickets appropriately, and ensure SLAs are met; document work and resolutions
- Update asset management info in One Note and Active Directory; coordinate with Admin on IT equipment surplusing
- Provide hardware/software training and professional development for technicians
- Participate in projects like PC Replacement, Memory Upgrades, Windows 10 Upgrades, etc.
- Share information and feedback; generate and maintain technical documentation
