Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities, as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high‑quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned. Provides radiologists with pertinent clinical information and demonstrates complete working knowledge of the modalities and related equipment.

Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate technical skills, participates in quality, process, and performance improvement initiatives, performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems, and meets departmental performance expectations along with Customer Service Standards of Excellence.

• Follow established departmental protocols and provide radiologists with the best possible images for interpretation while maintaining the highest level of patient care and assessment.
• Provide radiologists with pertinent clinical information.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff due bundan due to the magnetic field strength of the MRI scanner.
• Coordinate intra‑departmental communications to ensure exams are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain quality of care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
• Register in MRI and maintain competency as a multi‑modality technologist.

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program; CT/MRI registry eligible.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

• Two years clinical experience in more than one modality preferred; ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible required.
• Preferred: ARRT CT or MRI.

• Required:
  
  ARRT (R) with documentation of CT or MRI experience; must obtain advanced credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire.
• BLS;
  State license.
