The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Critical Care areas and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all Critical Care service line staff. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.

• Education: Associate Degree, BSN preferred
• Experience: 2-3 years RN experience in Critical Care
• License: Registered Nurse
• Certification: BLS/CPR (American Heart Association), PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association), NIH Stroke (within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date), TNCC Inexperienced (within 2 years of hire or transfer)
