Position SummaryThe Ultrasound Supervisor supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Ultrasound Department, including scheduling, inventory control, U.S./RIS integration, and patient care needs. The role involves interviewing, training, and evaluating Ultrasound staff and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Responsibilities- Supervises, coordinates schedules, interviews, trains and evaluates staff.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports, and PACS.
- Performs a variety of diagnostic Ultrasound procedures.
- Monitors equipment and department supplies.
- Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Ultrasonography.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Ultrasonographer with experience in vascular, OB/GYN, and abdominal procedures.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification.
Full Time, days. Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
