Position: Physical Therapist (PRN)
Facility: Beach Breeze Rehab & Care
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
Shift: PRN
Pay Rate: $57.00 per hour
Beach Breeze Rehab & Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who is passionate about helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment goals and plans.
Implement and document therapy services using evidence-based physical therapy techniques.
Apply therapeutic interventions to improve gait, mobility, muscle strength, balance, coordination, endurance, posture, and sensory awareness.
Design, fit, and train residents in the use of adaptive devices, orthotics, and prosthetics.
Select appropriate physical modalities based on residents’ diagnoses and needs.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to optimize treatment outcomes.
Instruct and motivate residents in mobility and exercise programs; monitor and adjust plans as needed.
Participate in resident care meetings and interdisciplinary conferences.
Supervise therapy assistants and supportive personnel in accordance with professional and state regulations.
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure cleanliness, proper function, and safety standards.
Assist in ordering and managing therapy supplies as needed.
Current, unencumbered Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
