. You'll be the organizational backbone for our passionate biologists and technicians who protect Florida’s stunning landscapes. - What You’ll Be Doing
:
- The "Go-To" Person: Manage budget tracking, equipment forms, and office supplies to keep the team mission-ready.
- Team Liaison: Act as the friendly face and voice of our office, greeting the public and routing calls to help people connect with nature.
- Organizer Extraordinaire: Master both digital and paper files, schedule essential meetings, and handle critical procurement to ensure our biologists have what they need.

Minimum Qualifications
: A high school diploma and eight years of professional experience in administrative work. An associate’s degree can substitute for two of the eight years of experience and a bachelor’s degree can substitute for four of the eight years of experience.
Other requirements: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Must possess and maintain a valid minimum Class E State of Florida driver’s license. Occasional overnight travel is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of My Florida Market Place , the Purchasing Card system, and State of Florida purchasing processes preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be familiar with and able to utilize computers using Microsoft Office applications, telecommunications equipment, and general office equipment. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Ability to handle telephone calls in a courteous and effective manner and provide excellent customer service in a consistent manner. Must be well organized, punctual, and display a cooperative and professional attitude.
