Senior Accountant

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing environment within a company known for its strong financial performance and collaborative culture. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, excellent technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

+ Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

+ Support internal and external audits.

General Ledger & Reconciliation

+ Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate account reconciliations.

+ Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting

+ Coordinate budgeting processes across departments.

+ Prepare forecasts and monitor budget adherence.

Inventory & Production Accounting

+ Reconcile physical inventories and cycle counts.

+ Analyze inventory risks and prepare inventory reserves.

Compliance & Controls

+ Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures.

+ Stay updated on tax regulations and assist with tax filings.

Systems & Process Improvement

+ Utilize ERP systems for financial data management.

+ Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting with a strong attention to detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.

- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Experience with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

- Solid understanding of general ledger management and financial statement preparation.

- A detail-oriented attitude and a proactive, positive approach to problem-solving
