Role DescriptionWe are seeking a professional Mortgage Loan Officer for a full-time, remote role. The Mortgage Loan Officer will work closely with potential clients to evaluate their mortgage needs and guide them through the loan process from start to finish. Responsibilities include assessing borrower qualifications, assisting in reviewing and submitting loan applications, coordinating with underwriters, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients while maintaining compliance with relevant lending regulations.
Qualifications- Experience and knowledge in Mortgage Lending, Mortgage Industry, and working as a Loan Officer
- Understanding of Underwriting principles and procedures
- Strong Customer Service skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills for managing loan applications and documentation
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with mortgage software and financial tools
- NMLS license is required;
State-specific licenses are a plus - Prior experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is advantageous
