Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable Tax Professional to join our team. In this role, you will prepare clients’ tax filings and advise them on strategies to maximize savings and make sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of tax laws and best practices in tax preparation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial meetings with potential clients to discuss the services offered and estimates of cost
• Educate clients on the tax submission process
• Analyze income statements, previous tax returns, and other financial records to determine taxable income
• Provide sound advice to clients on minimizing their tax obligations
• File personal and business taxes in an accurate and timely manner
• Communicate with tax authorities when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (preferred)
• Valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Previous experience as a Tax Professional
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Managing multiple requests via telephone, text messages, Whats App and social media
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
