My client, a top Private Credit Asset Manager, is looking for an Assistant Controller to join and lead their expanding team. Our client works on a hybrid basis in West Palm, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a large fund with significant equity commitments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate the fund's reporting schedule and ensure timely delivery of financial reports.
• Participate in board meetings and provide financial updates.
• Oversee the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements, capital calls, and distribution notices.
• Ensure complex investments are properly accounted for under US GAAP.
• Assist with the investment valuation process.
• Collaborate with Treasury on liquidity forecasts.
• Handle requests from investors and regulatory bodies.
• Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and tax accountants.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in accounting, preferably with private credit or from a top accounting firm.
• Solid understanding of private credit products.
• Familiarity with Investran e‑level portfolio monitoring software preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience managing teams or overseeing third-party administrators.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in a growing organization.
