Position Overview
The Family Office supports the individual financial, wealth, and estate planning needs of several senior partners of the firm. The analyst/associate will work closely with other members of the Family Office team as well as directly with partners and their families across multiple generations. This role offers exposure to financial reporting, tax and estate planning, and investment and wealth management.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and demonstrates strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Confidentiality, discretion, and trustworthiness are essential.
Responsibilities- Prepare, update, and maintain financial agreements (e.g., loans, leases, new investments)
- Record and organize documentation related to investments, insurance, tax, and estate planning
- Prepare and enhance quarterly financial reports
- Support family members with bill payments and charitable giving
- Collaborate with tax accountants on tax and gift return preparation
- Work with estate attorneys on gifting and estate planning matters
- Assist with cash management, tracking, and projections
- Maintain compliance records
- Coordinate with external investment managers
- Oversee real estate transactions (purchases and sales)
- Evaluate potential investments for suitability
- Maintain strict confidentiality with personal and financial information
- Handle ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree required; accounting or finance preferred (CPA a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with professionals and family members across generations
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Quick Books is a plus
