Receiving Clerk – Lake Park, FL 33403
Pay Range
: $20–$23/hr.
Schedule
:
Part‑time (Saturday & Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.)
Base Pay Range
: $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr.
- Ensure the receiving area office is never left unattended or unlocked.
- Prevent blocking of the receiving area.
- Schedule freight elevator use for residents moving in and out, adhering to Association policy.
- Register all deliveries and packages (Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, registered mail).
- Report all problems to the supervisor, including issues outside your scope of responsibility.
- Issue parking passes to all approved vehicles.
- Register and distribute s to all contractors.
- Monitor service contractor activity through logs.
- Complete required reports.
- Requisition materials, tools, and supplies needed for the job.
- Follow all safety precautions while performing work and maintain a safe work area.
- Perform other duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in office or logistics (preferred).
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages desirable.
- Lift up to 50 lbs with appropriate safety procedures.
- Stand upright for long periods; reach overhead; full range of mobility in upper/lower body.
- Work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods; climb stairs and navigate property/building quickly.
- Climb ladders and work at heights up to 14 ft on A‑frames and 21 ft on extension ladders.
- Work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity).
- Repeat motions with wrists, hands and fingers.
- Lift, pull and push materials and equipment up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information verbally and in writing.
- Maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
