Senior BIM / VDC Designer - Mechanical (HVAC, Piping, Plumbing)

We're seeking experienced BIM Designers / VDC Designers with deep mechanical knowledge in:

• HVAC Duct

• Piping (Chilled Water, Condenser Water)

• Plumbing Systems

• Sheet Metal

This is a high-impact role supporting major commercial projects and working alongside project managers, engineers, and trade partners to drive clean coordination from design through installation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and manage detailed BIM models for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP trades to eliminate clashes early

• Lead composite model coordination using Revit & Navisworks

• Produce detailed drawings that meet contract documents and code requirements

• Tag, dimension, clean up files, and prepare models for field use

• Support field coordination and maintain a safety-first mindset

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of commercial mechanical BIM/VDC experience

• Strong background in hospitals, universities, courthouses, high-rise condos, or large institutional builds

• Experience coordinating chilled water and condenser water systems

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and contract documents independently

• Proficiency in Revit required

• Working knowledge of plumbing and mechanical codes
