About FLIPANY
FLIPANY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, community-based agency that serves to advance healthy equity through nutrition education, mentored physical activity programs, and wellness initiatives. FLIPANY services the South Florida Community (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County). FLIPANY is disrupting the way health and wellness support is offered to communities that have been historically ignored, providing nutritious food, encouraging healthy eating, and promoting physical activity.
We connect families to food, teach kids to dice vegetables and kick a ball, and design customized health and wellness programs with a hands-on approach that integrates life skills to improve emotional well-being and resilience.
This is a seasonal position aligned with FLIPANY’s program cycles. Based on organizational needs, funding, and performance, there may be opportunities for continuation, including potential transition into a full-time dual-role structure combining meal site monitoring and instructional responsibilities (such as facilitating healthy cooking and nutrition education classes following training).
The Program Coordinator engages directly with youth while overseeing program monitoring and compliance. FLIPANY operates through an agency-to-agency model, so this role works closely with partner agencies throughout the Palm Beach County community. It is ideal for a passionate individual prepared to mentor and guide youth through social-emotional learning activities and wellness experiences that promote healthy lifestyle habits.
