Daily Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
• Provide support to students in various areas, including behavior management and classroom management.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assist with curriculum development and implementation, including preparing materials and resources.
• Support students with individualized learning needs, providing additional assistance as required.
• Supervise students during recess, lunchtime, and other non-instructional periods.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of literacy education and math concepts for young children.
• Ability to effectively manage behavior and promote positive social interactions among students.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and provide appropriate support.
