Senior Architect

Vickers Design Group is currently accepting applications for an 8-10 year architect for our West Palm Beach office. The candidate must be an experienced professional who can execute and lead all phases of design.

To succeed in this position the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Architecture
• 8-10 years of commercial architectural experience leading projects through full lifecycle (programming, SD/DD/CD/CA)
• Advanced Revit proficiency a MUST (can independently produce and oversee full CD sets)
• Comfortable interfacing directly with clients, consultants and contractors
• Attend and lead client meetings, presenting design concepts clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of Enscape, Bluebeam, Photoshop, In Design
• Deep understanding of building codes and industry best practices
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines on time
• Team player with a positive attitude

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

• Initiate design and production of drawings
• Attend client and consultant meetings
• Increase knowledge regarding building codes, ADA, Life Safety Codes, and technical drawings
• Adhere to client specifications and design standards
• Attend construction meetings with project team members
