Our client is a well-established architectural and interior design firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida, with over 50 years of experience delivering sophisticated commercial projects throughout the state.
The firm specializes in luxury multifamily, private clubs, hospitality, corporate office, and mixed-use developments. Known for refined detailing, technical rigor, and long-standing client relationships, the studio operates with a collaborative, accountable, and design-driven culture supported by a highly tenured leadership team.
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Project Architect to lead complex commercial work.
The OpportunityThis is a senior-level, production-focused leadership role. The Project Architect will take ownership of projects from Concept through Construction Administration, ensuring technical excellence, consultant coordination, and constructability throughout all phases.
This role requires independent judgment, advanced Revit expertise, and the ability to interface with clients, consultants, and contractors confidently.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects through Concept Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration
- Produce and oversee comprehensive, coordinated Revit-based Construction Document sets
- Coordinate structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing consultants
- Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and local permitting requirements
- Interface directly with clients and contractors
- Respond to RFIs and review shop drawings and submittals
- Maintain alignment between design intent, budget, and schedule
- Support fee proposals, work planning, and production scheduling
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- 7–10+ years of commercial architectural experience
- Advanced, daily-use proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Demonstrated experience producing full Construction Document sets
- Commercial project experience (multifamily, hospitality, private clubs, mixed-use)
- Strong working knowledge of the Florida Building Code
- Ability to operate independently with strong technical confidence
- Licensed Architect (Florida preferred)
- Experience leading internal production teams
- Demonstrated success managing consultant coordination on complex commercial projects
