Senior Art Director

Overview

WGI is seeking a Senior Art Director with 7+ years of experience to join our Creative/Marketing Department in the West Palm Beach, FL office.

WGI is an award-winning national consulting firm providing land planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture, transportation, geospatial services, and parking solutions, with our corporate headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL. With offices throughout the U.S., WGI delivers a comprehensive range of infrastructure services to a diverse client base in over 30 states.

This role is ideal for a highly creative, concept-driven designer who is passionate about building brands, shaping visual experiences, and elevating corporate marketing through exceptional design. The Senior Art Director will help define the visual voice of WGI across all channels—bringing strategy, storytelling, and craftsmanship together to create meaningful, high-impact creative. This is a hands-on role requiring both visionary thinking and production-level excellence within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This position is full-time with possible overtime, as needed.

• Develop and contribute to creative concepts and visual direction for internal campaigns and corporate marketing initiatives, translating business objectives into compelling brand stories while maintaining WGI brand standards
• Design high-impact graphics for digital, social, print, presentations, and corporate marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Microsoft Power Point
• Create cohesive presentation templates supporting corporate, divisional, and HR initiatives
• Provide creative support for corporate collateral and video projects as needed
• Collaborate closely with Creative and Marketing team members to elevate creative output and foster a culture of innovation
• Prepare refined, production-ready files for print and digital distribution, ensuring quality control and attention to detail
• Maintain organized creative assets and contribute to asset management systems to support efficiency and brand continuity
• Stay current on design trends, tools, and best practices to continually evolve WGI’s creative presence

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals
• Proven ability to lead creative execution without direct people management responsibilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and quality-driven
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound creative judgment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional services environment
• Ability to take initiative and independently ensure creative excellence across projects

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in graphic design, art direction, or a related role
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, layout excellence, and brand-driven design

Additional Experience, a Plus:

• Experience designing corporate marketing materials within the AEC or professional services industries
• Photography and advanced image editing experience
• Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere
• Experience using Asana or similar work management software
