This is an entry level administrative role with lots of room for growth. The starting wage for this role is $20/hour.
The GC Coordinator (General Contracting Coordinator) serves as a central support role for the branch by coordinating schedules, permits, documentation, and communication related to general contracting and reconstruction projects. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations between Pre-Construction Consultants, Project Managers, estimators, and external partners while delivering excellent customer service to clients. By owning administrative and permit-related tasks, the GC Coordinator frees up field and leadership teams to focus on client relationships and project execution.
The GC Coordinator is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
Update and manage Excel sheets and all meeting trackers and reports daily - Scheduling estimators for estimator/adjuster meetings and reinspections
- Scheduling Project Managers for rebuild, mold, and other required meetings
- Create and maintain detailed calendar events with proper notes and documentation
- Contact clients proactively to confirm meeting dates and expectations
- Update Dash and applicable DPTs once meetings are scheduled
- Move completed or closed jobs to appropriate DPT tabs
- Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on project permits
- Maintain Excel sheets and ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with Project Managers and local building departments as needed
- Schedule inspections and follow up on outcomes
- Assist Project Managers with permit-related questions and documentation
- Upload GC and project-related documents to the portal
- Send pre-test and post-test documentation to applicable Slack channels and follow up on next steps
- Maintain rebuild and estimate meeting trackers daily
- Take credit card payments for the GC team as needed
- Update cancellation trackers, Dash, and send client release documentation as required
- Provide general administrative support to the branch as assigned by PCCs or CDM
- Maintain an approved driving record per company insurance requirements
- Adhere fully to company policies, mission, and values outlined in the Team Member Handbook

- All project documentation, permits, and schedules are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
