Position: Receptionist (Seasonal Tax Support)

Randstad is seeking a professional, organized, and high-energy Receptionist/Office Administrator to support a prestigious local accounting firm during their busiest time of year. As the first point of contact for clients during tax season, you will play a critical role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and clients feel welcomed.

This is a seasonal contract position starting February 2nd and ending April 15th, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing top‑tier customer service.

Location:

West Palm Beach, FL (On‑site) Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. Job Type: Contract (Seasonal). Duration:
February 2nd – April 15th.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Qualifications
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role, preferably within a professional services environment (accounting, legal, or real estate).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on professional etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new scheduling software.
  • Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure, high attention to detail, and a reliable work ethic.
  • Must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract (through April 15th).
Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Management: Greet clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • High-Volume Calls: Manage a multi‑line phone system; screen and route calls to the appropriate team members or take detailed messages.
  • Appointment Coordination: Assist in scheduling client meetings and managing office calendars.
  • Document Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and tax documents; assist with scanning and digital filing of sensitive financial records.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with basic inquiries and ensure they are comfortable while waiting for their appointments.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain a clean and organized lobby/reception area and perform general office duties such as copying, filing, and data entry as needed.
