Our client is a growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, manage financial reporting, and help drive process improvements in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary$100k - $125k
Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager will oversee full‑cycle accounting activities, including general ledger management, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has prior public accounting experience, strong leadership skills, and can manage a small accounting team while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Responsibilities- Manage and supervise day‑to‑day accounting operations and staff.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and oversee journal entries.
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial reporting and process improvements.
- Mentor and develop accounting team members.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with prior public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience managing accounting staff and delegating responsibilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in manufacturing accounting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
