Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to support monthly accounting functions and month-end close activities. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective general ledger management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Perform month-end close and general ledger activities
- Assist with payroll, cash receipts, accruals, and bank reconciliations
- Support federal, state, and local reporting, including grants and cost reports
- Assist with budgets, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of general ledger accounting or public accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software (Workday or Great Plains preferred)
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
