Restaurant Manager

Overview

McLoone's Boathouse is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will employ their interpersonal and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing guest satisfaction to create return visits.

Our Managers are multi task oriented and have outstanding communication skills in order to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly. They must have the ability to attend to any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise. They are responsible for staffing, scheduling, financial goals, and staff development of the front of the house staff as well as creating a culture where making connections with guests to ensure return visits is a primary goal.

• guest relations, supervision of all front of the house staff, staffing levels, proper restaurant ambiance, housekeeping, and set-up, food & beverage quality, safety and pace.
• ensures that the shift is run in a smooth manner and attends to any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise.
• staffing, scheduling, financial goals, and staff development of the front of the house staff.

• Minimum 3 years experience as a manager in a full service restaurant.
• Candidate must possess strong leadership and organizational skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Walks and stands during entire shift. Must have the ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe as well as the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
