OverviewThe Application Analyst III functions as a senior Service Now Business Analyst responsible for driving the design, configuration, and advancement of the Service Now platform. In this role, they translate business needs into scalable, efficient Service Now solutions that support both operational and strategic goals. They serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding the definition, design, and implementation of workflow solutions across the Service Now environment.
Working with minimal supervision, the Application Analyst III operates as a subject matter expert for the Service Now platform and provides leadership, direction, and mentorship to Service Now team members throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
Education:
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience - Minimum:
Associate's degree with four or more years of relevant work experience
Work Experience:
- Preferred 5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role
- 3-5+ years of hands‑on experience specifically with the Service Now platform
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or SDLC‑driven project environments
- Demonstrated experience supporting Service Now upgrades, enhancements, and platform maintenance
Licenses and
Certifications:
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) required, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are highly preferred
- Certified Scrum Master highly preferred
