Position Overview

We areseekinga dynamic and organized individual to serve as the HR Operations Manager in a fast-paced HR firm environment. This role is key to translating strategic vision into action, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that all departments and team members work cohesively toward company goals. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of operational leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience in recruitment.

Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Thursday, 9am - 5:30 pm Friday 9am - 3:30pm
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000/Annually

Key Responsibilities Translating Vision into Action
  • Collaborate with leadership to break down big-picture goals into actionable, strategic plans.
  • Ensure that the company’s vision is executed efficiently and consistently across all departments.
Overseeing Daily Operations
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, ensuring that processes are smooth, and the company’s goals are met.
  • Align department objectives with company goals to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
  • Optimize and streamline office functions, such as vendor management, resource allocation, and overall business administration.
Facilitating Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between leadership, department heads, and staff.
  • Ensure that all communication channels are clear and effective, enabling teams to collaborate efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and staff to maintain organizational clarity and ensure objectives are understood by all.
Holding Teams Accountable
  • Oversee department heads to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) are being met.
  • Ensure the right people are in the right roles, driving performance and responsibility.
  • Monitor employee performance metrics and provide feedback to ensure alignment with company goals.
Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution
  • Step in to resolve operational issues and remove roadblocks when needed.
  • Make data-driven decisions to navigate challenges and ensure the firm remain on track toward its objectives.
Driving Results
  • Track the progress of key initiatives and make adjustments necessary to ensure the company achieves its targets.
  • Keep teams aligned with the broader goals and objectives of the firm.
Oversee Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that roles are filled with qualified candidates who fit the company culture.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding processes for key roles within the company.
  • Assist with recruitment strategy to attract top-tier talent for both internal and client needs.
Individual Contributor Responsibilities in Recruitment
  • Serve as a hands-on recruiter for critical positions when needed, ensuring the firm’s recruitment needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist in developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in office management, operations, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge gaps between teams and leadership.
  • Experience in recruitment, including hands-on recruiting for specific roles.
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable steps for the team.
  • Proficiency with office management tools and operations platforms.

Compensation

The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
