Certified Home Health Aide; Driver

Company: Homewatch Care Givers of South Orange
Position: Hourly (Weekdays and Weekends)
Location: West Orange, NJ & Livingston, NJ
Start Date: Immediate

• Must be willing to drive clients in your own vehicle.
• Comfortable working with smokers.

• West Orange, NJ:
  Tues & Thurs @ 9am to 5pm, EVERY Sunday @ 10:30am to 2:30pm
• Livingston, NJ:
  Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri @ 11am to 5pm

• Build meaningful relationships with clients.
• Provide companionship with warmth and encouragement.
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Ensure client safety and supervision.
• For drivers:
  Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and errands.

• Certification:
  Active New Jersey HHA Certification.
• Health:
  Fully vaccinated (and boosted if eligible) against COVID-19.
• Documentation:
  Two forms of  (e.g., Driver's License, Social Security card) and recent health screenings.
• Drivers:
  Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, proof of registration, and auto insurance.
• Traits:
  Reliable, compassionate, flexible, and a team player.
• Experience:
  
  1+ year of prior experience preferred but not required.
