The Early Childhood Department at JCC Metro West in West Orange, NJ is seeking a dedicated and passionate Temporary Full-Time Lead Teacher for Three-year-olds to join our early childhood education team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and support the developmental growth of young children in a nurturing environment. This temporary role is to cover a maternity leave beginning mid to late February and ending on June 19, 2026.
The preferred schedule is 8:15am to 5:15pm, and there is potential opportunity for continued employment.
The ideal candidate will understand developmental milestones, be nurturing, patient, reliable and joyful. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.
Required qualifications- Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
Salary: $22 to $28 per hour commensurate with credentials
