Residential Project Manager

We’re seeking a Residential Architectural Project Manager to join our local New Jersey team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and are eager to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you. This position is partially remote and has 2-3 days in person with local site visit travel requirements in and around Essex County, NJ.

• Generate thoughtful design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
• Translate concepts and information into drawings, diagrams, and details
• Develop construction documents including building sections, wall sections, framing plans, roof eaves, and custom millwork details
• Balance design excellence with constructability, budget, and schedule
• Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors for smooth project delivery
• Assist with contract administration tasks
• Participate in surveying, permitting process, and construction site visits
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving and innovative design thinking

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture (NAAB accredited)
• 3+ years of professional experience with strong residential design and detailing skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required (other 3D software a plus)
• Strong organizational, design, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse project team
• Strengths in conceptual design, technical detailing, and problem‑solving
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Disciplined time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
