We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and drive significant growth.
The RoleAs a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our market share within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and consumer packaging sectors. You will manage high-value accounts, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This is a critical role for an individual with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and a deep understanding of the packaging industry's nuances.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Sales: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and grow existing business within the cosmetics and consumer goods market.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at leading cosmetic and consumer brands.
- Business Development: Identify and prospect new clients, leading the sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation and deal closure.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our design, production, and marketing teams to ensure client needs are met and products are delivered to the highest standards. Partner with internal teams to manage timelines, tooling, production constraints, etc.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast sales, track performance metrics, and report on sales activities and results to senior management. Responsibility for hitting sales targets and managing margins.
- Travel: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of senior sales experience, with at least 5 years specifically within the cosmetic, beauty, pharmaceutical or consumer packaging industries.
- Track Record: Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the packaging lifecycle, materials (plastic, glass, sustainable options), printing techniques, and supply chain dynamics. Knowledge about sustainability initiatives, regulatory requirements (FDA, cosmetic packaging standards), compliance in beauty, pharmaceutical and consumer markets.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, self-motivated, organized, presentation skills, hard-working, strategic, disciplined and resilient.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to reward success and attract top talent:
- Base Salary: Commensurate with experience and proven track record. Starting at $100,000 annually with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
- Bonus Structure: Aggressive performance-based bonus plan.
