Wire Rope Assembler and Fabricator

Job Overview

CERTEX USA is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wire Rope Assembler to join our team in West Monroe, Louisiana, responsible for fabricating, inspecting, and assembling various rope products to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications.

• Review, interpret drawings, blueprints and capacity tables.
• Understand codes and specifications as outlined on order tickets.
• Calculate wire rope cut lengths, fitting requirements and identify the appropriate equipment to produce all varieties of wire or synthetic rope and chain assemblies.
• Splice wire rope and fabricate chain slings.
• Understand and operate industrial swaging machines, proof testing machines, and forklifts.
• Attach proper tags and labels to products.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Report defective or substandard material supplies or product.
• Ship and receive goods.
• Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner, and follow all safety guidelines.
• Assist with deliveries when required.

• Familiarity with industrial tools such as cutting machines, swagers, crimping tools, and winches is preferred.
• Proficient in math and reading.
• Must be able to manage your time.
• Must be able to accurately read a tape measure or digital micrometer.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be persistent, energetic, and reliable.
• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check.
• Be able to provide proof of citizenship in accordance with I-9 documentation.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude.
• Report to work at the designated start time.
• Willing to travel to various work sites or training as required.
• Willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends when necessary.
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures and comply with the Company’s “Stop Work” policy.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as directed.
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers and supervisors with other duties as required.

• $18-$20 per hour.
