Haik Humble Eye Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented candidate who is ready to join our growing healthcare family! The ophthalmic technician will work with the clinical team using state of the art ocular equipment to conduct specialized testing on patients to determine visual acuity, visual defects, and ocular problems. Training will include various eye testing, intra-ocular pressure measurements, history and etiology, eye scans, ultrasound, assisting with in-office procedures as well as ophthalmic terminology and charting.

This job involves daily one on one patient care and contact, therefore we are looking for someone who possesses kindness and compassion for our wonderful patients.

Direct patient contact will require the candidate to be able to administer eye medications and diagnostic drops upon training. The position will also perform patient related clerical duties. No prior experience in the field is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

Candidates must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment within a very busy clinic. Candidates must demonstrate punctuality with a strong record of attendance. Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week.
