The Role
Employee will provide technical expertise and project engineering as required to support the Gearing and Reliability Solutions team. The position will be responsible for mechanical project development, design, and execution to improve our customers’ production and reliability performance, primarily focused on mechanical power transmission systems. Employee must have a desire to be part of a team focused on personal and professional growth, ambitious career plans, and a determination to see them through.
Employee must also have a demonstrated ability to motivate and lead diverse teams in achieving project goals. This position reports to the Director of GRS Technical Services.
- Coordinate between sales, application engineering, and the build/field services team to ensure alignment of customer expectations and team execution.
- Provide advanced engineering expertise to solve problems and implement changes.
- Develop scope, design, construct, and install or modify existing equipment.
- Provide field support, including project supervision, equipment design, and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns.
- Effectively communicate with internal customers and leadership.
- Provide emergency response support at all day/times.
- Willing to travel at least 20%.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Work environment involves exposure to hazards, chemicals, or physical risk requiring basic safety precautions and PPE.
- Typical office environment with ambient room temperatures, lighting, and equipment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
