Registered Nurse; RN – School Case | Per Diem | West Milford, NJ

Overview

Affirmed Home Care seeks a dedicated, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one pediatric nursing care in a West Milford, New Jersey school setting. This role offers autonomy, meaningful work, and the chance to impact a child’s daily life.

• Deliver direct nursing care to a pediatric client in a school setting
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects
• Track and document vital signs, behaviors, and interventions
• Support activities of daily living and respond to emergency needs
• Communicate clearly with school staff, family members, and the care team
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (Required)
• CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Previous experience with pediatric care is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
• Comfortable working in pet‑friendly environments if applicable
• Must have reliable transportation

• Familiarity with G‑tubes, ostomy care, and other complex medical needs
• Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, mobile apps)
• Experience in home care or school nursing is a plus
