Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year
This company is growing a new practice group that will focus on operations outside of Manhattan in Northern New Jersey as well as Connecticut. This role is a hybrid engineer / doer-seller position with potential for long-term growth within an established firm and strong reputation.

- Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments, including soil, concrete, and land inspections and testing.
- Design and implement geotechnical and foundation systems.
- Provide technical support for land development projects, including grading, site development, and erosion control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Prepare and review technical reports and proposals.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress.
- Assist with land surveying and permitting processes as required.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on geotechnical engineering.
- Demonstrated experience with inspection and testing of soil, concrete, and land.
- Solid understanding of land development processes, including grading, site development, and erosion control.
- Proficiency in geotechnical and environmental engineering.
- Experience with land surveying and permitting processes.
