Security 101 – Pittsburgh is now recruiting a Lead Commercial Security Technician that has experience installing programming and servicing commercial electronic security devices primarily CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems and overall commercial electronic security systems.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP‑based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
• Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
• Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
• Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.

• Access Control:
  Pro Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2.
• Video:
  Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha.
• Intrusion: DMP, Honeywell.
• Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.

Installing, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management.

Successfully demonstrate installation, termination, test and perform maintenance on the following hardware from leading manufacturers like Von Duprin, Assa Abloy, HID, Honeywell, etc.

• Mag Locks
• Door Strikes
• Card Readers and Keypads
• Electric Crash Bars
• EREX (Emergency Request to Exit Buttons)
• REX (Request to Exit) PIR
• Motion Sensors
• IP Cameras
• NVR's and DVR's

• High School (or GED) minimum requirement
• Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)

Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team‑oriented work environment. Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug‑test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
