** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail store and/or mall location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, assisting with lost children, and/or coordinating with store management and local responders as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations.

+ Monitor alarms, cameras, and access points as assigned, and complete routine checks of doors, receiving areas, and high-traffic zones to help to deter unauthorized access and/or shrink.

+ Document observations, incidents, and customer interactions in written reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
