Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club

This role involves staying on your feet, keeping areas neat and organized, and helping members find items on their shopping list. Duties may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, stocking shelves, and assisting members. The work can be fast-paced and physically demanding, with activities like unloading trucks in summer and stocking ice cream in freezers.

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Promptly unload trucks and assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sort, stock, and present products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy
• Monitor product rotation, labeling, pricing, and display setup
• Assist with safety, quality, and sanitation standards on the sales floor

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and guiding them on self-service technology and product choices
• Locate merchandise, resolve member issues, and promote products and services
• Support safety and compliance by following company policies, safety procedures, and hazardous materials handling guidelines
• Maintain merchandising presentation, sign and price products, and address shrink and damages
• Ensure the display of promotional and seasonal merchandise
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and vendors to complete tasks and meet deadlines
