Operations Supervisor - AGC

The ACAA’s Operations Supervisor - AGC will report to the General Aviation Duty Manager ensures that the conditions and safety of the airport is maintained in compliance and preparedness with local operational standards and regulations established by the Federal Government.

Qualifications Requirements to apply for role of Operations Supervisor - AGC are:

Bachelor's degree from four-year accredited college or university in Aviation Management or related field; or Associate’s degree and Two-Three (2-3) years related experience

We also expect that candidates will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in most cases:  Working knowledge of FAA FAR Parts 139 and 77

Extensive working knowledge of FAA airfield radio procedures Knowledge of snow removal and ice control operations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with numerous variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Considerable ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively, and to determine a proper course of action during emergencies

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, representatives of other agencies, airport tenants and the general public

Ability to utilize digital tools and Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
