Kitchen Technician

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full‑time Kitchen Technician to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Kitchen Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, and building repair systems. This role requires candidates to be in current possession of an HVAC license.

$20.00 – $26.00 / hour

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, install, replace, or repair damaged equipment, and calibrate thermostatic controls
• Install new equipment, ventilation, and ice machines; repair and replace damaged or worn equipment
• Inspect and observe the pressure of liquids and vapor with kitchen equipment to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments
• Operate a motor vehicle when necessary

• No high school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of five years’ experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration
• An HVAC license is required
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test
• Operate a motor vehicle when necessary

• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently
• Standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions for long periods
• The ability to work at various heights, including frequent use of a ladder
• The ability to read schematics, use a voltmeter, effectively communicate with vendors, and research necessary parts for all equipment for ordering purposes
