Buffet Restaurant Cashier

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time and part-time Restaurant Cashiers to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. Providing excellent guest service is at the forefront of what we do. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will collaborate with team members to facilitate all transactions and keep track of orders.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$15.00 – $15.25 / hour

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to track all orders, payments, and charges, validate methods of payment, complete transactions, provide accurate change, documentation and receipts, and dispense the correct amount as needed
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolve discrepancies, and process payments
• Clean up the checkout area and keep it organized; keep receipt paper and other supplies stocked
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables’ orders using the venue’s primary point of sale system

• Previous cash handling experience
• Excellent guest service skills
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank
• No high school diploma or GED required
