Electrician – Renewables

Location:

Kent, London & surrounding areas.

Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 basic, plus bonus, overtime, company van, fuel card, 33 days holiday, paid lunch, pension, healthcare.

This role offers the chance to join a growing in‑house electrical team within a renewable energy specialist that works at scale across social housing and commercial projects. All engineers are permanent, fully supported and treated as professionals, not numbers.

You will be working on a varied portfolio including solar PV, EV charging, battery storage and renewable systems. The business is open to experienced electricians and to those earlier in their career who have the right attitude and want to develop into renewables with full training and mentoring.

You will be trusted to work independently most days while still being part of a collaborative team culture. Leadership is visible, engineers are listened to and feedback is actively encouraged. Manufacturer training, internal courses and external qualifications are all part of the long‑term plan.

• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Full UK driving licence
• Open‑minded and keen to learn renewable technologies
• Professional, customer‑focused and reliable

• Service, maintenance and fault finding on renewable electrical systems
• Working on solar PV, EV charging, battery storage and associated technologies
• Reactive and planned works within social housing and commercial environments
• Completing testing, certification and documentation accurately
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with paid lunch, overtime available
