Location:

Sandwich, Kent (with flexibility to be based from Kings Hill – once a week travel to Sandwich required). Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE.

Hours:

40 hours per week | Monday‑Friday (flexible start/finish). Working pattern:
Office‑based.

Due to a healthy pipeline of work, our client, a well‑established construction specialist with an annual turnover of circa £20m, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Estimator to join their growing commercial team.

• Review incoming enquiries and assess project requirements
• Produce detailed take‑offs and accurate cost estimates
• Prepare estimates ready for submission, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Support tender submissions and pricing strategies
• Liaise closely with project teams and contracts managers to ensure seamless sales‑to‑delivery handovers
• Maintain strong communication across internal teams
• Identify inefficiencies and contribute to continuous improvement within estimating processes

• 2-5 years' experience in a construction estimating role
• Proven knowledge of construction estimating (timber frame experience beneficial but not essential)
• Strong Excel skills, with confidence using formulas and calculations
• Experience using MS Project and/or other project management tools
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast‑paced team environment

Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE

• Flexible working hours – choose between 7:30am‑4:30pm or 8:30am‑5:30pm
