Retail Manager

Established in 1976, The Pool & Spa House is a trusted provider of pool and spa supplies and services in the Pacific Northwest. With multiple locations, including Portland, Gresham, Tigard, Vancouver, and West Linn, we offer a wide variety of products and services for inground and above ground pools as well as backyard spas. Our offerings include pool maintenance, equipment repair and replacement, and complementary computerized water analysis with the ALEX® Pro system.

This is a full‑time, on‑site Retail Manager role located in West Linn, OR. The Retail Manager will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include leading the team to achieve sales targets, maintaining an organized and efficient sales floor, creating schedules, managing inventory and stock levels, and providing excellent customer service to meet the needs of our clients.

The role also involves fostering a positive and productive work environment for all team members.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with both customers and team members and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
• Proven ability in Team Management, including leadership, scheduling, and fostering a positive workplace culture
• Experience in Sales and achieving sales targets; ability to assist in developing and implementing sales strategies
• Strong organizational skills, including inventory management and store operations experience
• Proficiency in problem‑solving and decision‑making to resolve customer queries and address operational challenges
• Experience in the retail or pool and spa industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a bonus
