Job Description
Serve as an Indoor Air Quality Technician (IAQ) Trainee. Learn to support all Operations and Maintenance crafts including the IAQ group, Central Shops and Zones. Must successfully learn and develop skills in temperature control, mechanical system controls, direct digital controls, electric control systems, testing and balancing and fume hood balancing. Must be able to learn to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting checks on all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
Overtime work may be required.
The typical work schedule for this position is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to successfully complete Module 1 and Module 2 of the Indoor Air Quality Apprenticeship program within 24 months of employment to be promoted to the next level.
Skills Needed- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret technical material and read blueprints and control schematics
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with word processors and spreadsheets
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. or more occasionally
- Exposure to adverse conditions such as electrical hazards, extreme cold and heat, confined spaces and working from height
- Personal protective equipment required during specific operations
- A valid U.S. or Canadian driver’s license
- One year experience in heating, ventilation and air conditioning control or a related area
