Maintains acceptable store conditions according to Company standards. Engages with customers, transports groceries, locates products and conducts price verifications. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment.

• Builds product displays and maintains attractive product presentation.
• Collects shopping carts and stores them in the cart corral.
• Keeps parking lot free of trash and debris; communicates incidents to management.
• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Promotes product sales through active customer engagement.
• Takes precautions when handling objects to avoid damage.
• Maintains clean, safe, and sanitary environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and transport groceries as needed.

• Remain courteous with customers at all times.
• Effectively communicate (written and verbal) with customers and partners.
• Multi-task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jack (partners 18 yrs.+).
• Safely work with sharp objects such as knives and box cutters.
• Work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Identify potential hazards and remedy or place warning signs promptly.
• Report hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

• Typically involves on‑the‑job training.
• Minimum 18 years of age to operate equipment.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

• Use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and focus.
• Talk and hear continuously.
• Use hands for reaching, touching, or handling.
• Stand or walk continuously.
• Perform strenuous finger and hand movements.
• Push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 40 lbs.
• Push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
