As a Behavior Technician at BACA you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA).

• Assist in delivering ABA therapy to children ages 2‑22 with autism and special needs at one of our centers.
• Follow treatment plans created by supervising behavior analysts.
• Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors.
• Provide compassionate, enthusiastic support to children and their families.
• Learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA and apply that knowledge daily.
• Engage in physical tasks as needed, including push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and stand, walk, and run on client assignments.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and personal vehicle preferred.
• Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule (mornings, afternoons, evenings).
• Must be 18 or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong desire to help children with autism and their families reach goals.
• Compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, and reliability.
• Willingness to learn about autism, learning differences, and ABA.
• Preferred: bilingual in English/Spanish; background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, or related field; prior childcare experience; interest in a career in behavior analysis, behavioral health, or related services.

• Pay: starting at $17/hr with potential to increase with experience.
• Eligibility to earn RBT certification.
• Full‑time: up to 15 days of paid time off after 90 days of employment.
• Part‑time: eligibility for sick leave.
• Possible promotion within as little as three months; opportunities for professional growth.
• Schedule:
  
  M/T/Th/F 8:15 a.m.‑3:45 p.m.; W 8:15 a.m.‑5:00 p.m.

• Entry‑level, temporary position.
• Location:
  
  West Lafayette, IN.
• Annual salary range: $45,000‑$50,000.
