Student Worker, Office of Special Events

Department: Special Events

Compensation: $12.00 / hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist in building and maintaining all event registrations in coordination with Director of Special Events Strategy and Engagement
  • Manage all assigned digital tasks for event projects in Wrike project management software
  • Monitor attendee lists for events planned by the Office of Special Events to ensure all registration data is accurate and up to date
  • Be knowledgeable of the analytics dashboard within Salesforce that houses all registration data to provide guidance when needed
  • Assist the Director of Special Events Strategy and Engagement to create digital communication plans for upcoming events as needed
  • Research latest digital communication trends/designs
  • Help develop modern email layout templates for event communications
Additional Responsibilities
  • Request specialized reports when necessary
  • MS Excel report updates or revisions
  • Other duties are on an “as assigned basis”

Required

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Current Purdue University student
  • Students in HTM majors preferred
  • This position will work approx. 8-19 hours/week
