Job Summary
Online Course Preparation and Support
Purdue University Online is looking for a student who can perform the following tasks and duties
Required
* Must be detailed oriented.
* Must have knowledge of Microsoft products and Adobe Acrobat
* Experience using Brightspace a plus
* Candidate must be FERPA certified.
* Training and certification will be provided upon hire.
Tasks and Duties
* Review and update course syllabi and schedules
* Review and update Brighstpace assignment dates and identify broken links within content
* Ensure documents are accessible before posting to edX or Bright Space.
* Grade scope
* duplicate previous Grade scope courses and update dates and settings.
* link to either edX or Bright Space
* occasionally upload student assignments and match pages to outline.
* Piazza Discussion Forums
* set up Piazza discussions.
* link to edX or Bright Space.
* Content updates may be required.
* Using Math Type or LaTeX for equations/formulas
* Closed captioning review.
* Student may be asked to review closed captioning for accuracy.
* Other duties as assigned.
Hours and Pay Rate
* Up to 20 hours per week
* $14 per hour
