Senior Business Analyst

Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester
. This is a full‑time, 1‑year fixed‑term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. You will receive a competitive salary of £41,650 – £56,350 per annum, depending on experience.

• Business requirements are captured, documented, and signed off effectively across projects.
• Process improvement opportunities are identified and implemented.

• Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Business Analysis Certification (e.g., BCS BA diploma, IIBA, or similar).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst) are desirable.

• 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst (ideally in a global or cross‑functional environment).
• Experience delivering business analysis for digital transformation, ideally within not‑for‑profit or mission‑driven organisations.
• Demonstrable track record of supporting digital change initiatives, including system implementations or upgrades.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a methodical approach to gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience with process mapping, business process re‑engineering, and workflow optimisation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or other iterative delivery methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across concurrent projects.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex needs into clear, actionable plans.

• Proficient with business analysis and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, Jira, Trello).
• Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, or HRIS systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with data structures, reporting tools, and integration concepts is beneficial.

• Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
• Additional languages such as Arabic or Urdu are desirable.
