POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Facilities Technician to help maintain our industrial buildings, infrastructure, and surrounding grounds. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and maintaining a safe, functional environment across a large industrial property.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on building systems and infrastructure.

• Assist with upkeep of the facility's interior and exterior, including grounds, common areas, and operational spaces.

• Troubleshoot and repair issues involving mechanical, structural, or general facility components.

• Support preventative maintenance schedules for equipment, HVAC units, and building systems.

• Assist with minor construction, remodeling, or improvement projects.

• Coordinate with outside vendors when specialized work is required.

• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety standards and procedures.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform each essential duty daily.

• Commercial roofing

• Concrete work

• Heating and HVAC systems

• General construction

• Drywall installation and repair

• Garage door installation/repair (industrial bay doors ideal)

• General handyman or maintenance experience

• Prior facilities maintenance experience preferred (industrial environment a plus).

• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.

• Willingness to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.
  • Physically fit to work in an industrial environment and tolerate exposure to varying physical conditions.
  • Must be able to work extended hours when necessary.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Industrial manufacturing environment with heavy machinery, forklifts and overhead cranes.

• Use of PPE such as gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear is required.

• Interaction with team members, leads, and supervisors is frequent and necessary.
